Fredric J. Sirota

Fredric J. Sirota was born in Paterson, New Jersey and is a graduate of Paterson, New Jersey, Eastside High School; Lehigh University, B.A., with honors; and New York University School of Law, J.D. He was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey in 1972 and subsequently admitted to the Bar of the State of New York.

Rick served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Martin J. Kole, Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, General Equity, in Passaic County, New Jersey. He has been a member of the firm since 1973 and prior to that was associated with the predecessor firm of Meyner and Wiley of Newark, Morristown, and Phillipsburg, New Jersey.

Rick is a Trustee of the Morristown Green, a member of the advisory board of M.A.I.N. Library Alliance, and is on the Board of Directors of the William Paterson University Foundation. He was a member of the Board of Operation Sunshine, a fundraising effort that worked in conjunction with Morris County's Daily Record to send needy children to summer camp. He was previously a member of the Board of the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival at Drew University. From 1984 to its sale to Provident Bank in 2007, he was a member of the Board of Directors of First Morris Bank and Trust, the then-largest bank headquartered in Morris County.

He practices in the areas of trusts and estates, corporate and business law, commercial real estate transactions, governmental approvals, and education law. Since its inception, Rick has been included on the Super Lawyers list by Super Lawyers magazine in the area of business law.

Rick and his wife Joan reside in Morristown.
